Switzerland

Soon we will be living here in Zurich, so we thought it might be a solid idea to check it out. Switzerland is quite a place. This should be an amazing experience.

Taking a few test photos with the new lens. I liked most everything about the Canon 85mm, except the 3 feet away needed to focus. So I traded it for the 100mm macro.

Landscaping

We've finally transformed the weedy, dirt patch side of our yard into the beginnings of a low maintenance privacy screen. It should look great in a few years, just about the time we will likely want to move, right?

I have no real expertise in landscape design, but it's a fun learning. Except I could do without it being 10,000º (or 100º F) outside in the sun.
